Mountain View Middle School & Winding Creek Elementary School
York Excavating Company constructed these two new school facility sites through a single site prime contract with the owner.
Project scope included installation & maintenance of erosion & sediment controls, clearing, building demolition, mass grading, excavation and backfill of the building foundation systems, installation of the building slab stone base, installation of a new water main, sanitary sewer and water service installation, installation of a new primary electrical pathway, stormwater conveyance, installation of underground stormwater management systems, installation of a large lined detention pond, installation of three new multipurpose fields, installation of a 100’ underground pedestrian tunnel, fine grading and pouring of concrete curbs, fine grading and installation of concrete & asphalt stone bases, pouring of rigid concrete pavement and sidewalks, asphalt paving, landscaping, seeding, sod and installation of various site and athletic amenities such as bleachers, bollards, fencing, guiderail, line painting and signage.
