York Excavating Company as a Design Assist Partner worked with the construction manager for approximately 4 months budgeting schematic designs, while offering their expertise and value engineering ideas on critical design elements associated with this project.
As a result of these design assist efforts, YEC ultimately worked with the CM through a prime contract to develop the site of this new medical facility. Project scope included installation & maintenance of erosion & sediment controls, clearing, mass grading, segmental block retaining wall systems, sanitary sewer and water main installation, stormwater conveyance, installation of several underground stone infiltration beds, fine grading and pouring of concrete curbs, fine grading and installation of concrete & asphalt stone bases, asphalt paving, and installation of various site amenities such as bollards, fencing, guiderail, line painting and signage.
